The story

Elric Voss is sixteen years old, two ranks above useless, and he wakes up one hour before everyone around him dies. The Caelith Mourne expedition has camped at the base of a sky-fallen pyramid ten thousand years old, and something sealed inside it has finally been disturbed. When the ground splits and the demons come, the thirty-one members of the expedition are dead inside of ten minutes. Elric wakes up again. Same tent, same wind, same pyramid filling the sky. One hour on the clock. He dies to the first demon in seconds. Then again. Then again... The Infinite Mage is the story of a young acolyte who has nothing, no great power, no secret destiny, no teacher who believes in him, grinding the same hour of carnage until nothing in it can kill him anymore. Every death teaches him something. Every reset sharpens him. The spell that begins as a candle-flicker becomes a bolt that cracks the sky. The boy who could not survive two seconds against a single demon slowly becomes the only thing standing between the pyramid and the world outside it. The action never stops. Neither does Elric. This is not a story about a chosen hero. It is a story about what repetition does to a person.
